This brief presents A 16/32Gb/s dual-mode transmitter including a linearity calibration loop to maintain amplitude linearity of the SST driver. Linearity detection and corresponding master-slave power supply circuits are designed to implement the proposed architecture. The proposed transmitter is manufactured in a 22nm FD-SOI process. The linearity calibration loop reduces the peak INL errors of the transmitter by 50%, and the RLM rises from 92.4% to 98.5% when the transmitter is in PAM4 mode. The chip area of the transmitter is 0.067mm2, while the proposed linearity enhanced part is 0.05×0.02mm2 and the total power consumption is 64.6mW with a 1.1V power supply. The linearity calibration loop can be detached from the circuit without consuming extra power.

In GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Distributed Simulation Environment (GDSE), the simulation task could be designed with the sharing models on the Internet. However, too much information and relation of model need to be managed in GDSE. Especially if there is a large quantity of sharing models, the model retrieval would be an extremely complex project. For meeting management demand of GDSE and improving the model retrieval efficiency, the characteristics of service simulation model are analysed firstly. A semantic management method of simulation model is proposed, and a model management architecture is designed. Compared with traditional retrieval way, it takes less retrieval time and has a higher accuracy result. The simulation results show that retrieval in the semantic management module has a good ability on understanding user needs, and helps user obtain appropriate model rapidly. It improves the efficiency of simulation tasks design.

This letter proposes a new algorithm for the check node update in the decoding of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes. The proposed algorithm is based on a new approximation formula of standard sum-product algorithm (SPA) which can reduce the approximation error of min-sum algorithm (MSA) and has almost the same performance as sum-product algorithm (SPA) under both floating precision operation and fixed-point operation. Besides, the new approximation formula can be implemented in simple structures competitive with MSA.
Transmission coordination mechanism (TCM) aids opportunistic routing (OR) to reduce the total number of packet transmissions and improve end-to-end throughput. Existing paradigms based on batch map partitions packets of communication session into segments, and transmit packet segments in batch mode sequentially. However, the rate of successful transmission coordination oscillates due to the oscillation of the number of packets batch transmitted. In this paper, we propose batch sliding window-based TCM to improve the performance of OR. By transmitting packets in continuous batch mode, batch sliding window-based TCM can hold the rate of successful transmission coordination steady. Simulation results show the average end-to-end throughput gain of the proposed TCM is 15.4% over existing batch map-based TCM.
