A novel auto-tuning digital DC--DC converter is presented. In order to reduce the recovery time and undershoot, the auto-tuning control combines LnL, conventional PID and a predictive PID with a configurable predictive coefficient. A switch module is used to select an algorithm from the three control algorithms, according to the difference between the error signal and the two initially predefined thresholds. The detection and control logic is designed for both window delay line ADC and $Sigma Delta$ DPWM to correct the delay deviation. When the output of the converter exceeds the quantization range, the digital output of ADC is set at 0 or 1, and the delay line stops working to reduce power consumption. Theoretical analysis and simulations in the CSMC CMOS 0.5,$mu$m process are carried out to verify the proposed DC--DC converter. It is found that the converter achieves a power efficiency of more than 90% at heavy load, and reduces the recovery time and undershoot.

A new approach for extracting significant characteristic within speech signal for distinct speaker is presented. Based on the multiresolution property of wavelet transform, quadrature mirror filters (QMFs) derived by Daubechies is used to decompose the input signal into varied frequency channels. Owning to the uncorrelation property of each resolution derived from QMFs, Linear Predict Coding Cepstrum (LPCC) of lower frequency region and entropy information of higher frequency region for each decomposition process are calculated as the speech feature vectors. In addition, a hard thresholding technique for lower resolution in each decomposition process is also used to remove the effect of noise interference. The experimental result shows that by using this mechanism, not only effectively reduce the effect of noise inference but improve the recognition rate. The proposed feature extraction algorithm is evaluated on MAT telephone speech database for Text-Independent speaker identification using vector quantization (VQ). Some popular existing methods are also evaluated for comparison in this paper. Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed method is more effective and robust than that of the other existing methods. For 80 speakers and 2 seconds utterance, the identification rate is 98.52%. In addition, the performance of our method is very satisfactory even at low SNR.

Due to the rapid development of small satellite technology and the advantages of LEO satellite with low delay and low propagation loss as compared with the traditional GEO satellite, the broadband LEO constellation satellite communication system has gradually become one of the most important hot spots in the field of satellite communications. Many countries and satellite communication companies in the world are formulating the project of broadband satellite communication system. The broadband satellite communication system is different from the traditional satellite communication system. The former requires a higher transmission rate. In the case of high-speed transmission, if the low elevation constellation is adopted, the satellite beam will be too much, which will increase the complexity of the satellite. It is difficult to realize the low-cost satellite. By comparing the complexity of satellite realization under different elevation angles to meet the requirement of terminal speed through link computation, this paper puts forward the conception of building broadband LEO constellation satellite communication system with high elevation angle. The constraint relation between satellite orbit altitude and user edge communication elevation angle is proposed by theoretical Eq. deduction. And the simulation is carried out for the satellite orbit altitude and edge communication elevation angle.

In this paper, an analytical threshold voltage model of the strained gate-all-around MOSFET fabricated on the Si1-xGex virtual substrate is presented by solving the two-dimensional Poisson equation. The impact of key parameters such as the strain, channel length, gate oxide thickness and radius of the silicon cylinder on the threshold voltage has been investigated. It has been demonstrated that the threshold voltage decreases as the strain in the channel increases. The threshold voltage roll-off becomes severe when increasing the Ge content in the Si1-xGex virtual substrate. The model is found to tally well with the device simulator.
